Cerebrospinal fluid data: opioids and pain

Why this Data?

This poster describes variation in glucose metabolism in 28 patients, identifying individuals with chronic pain which responded to opioids. We don’t know yet which cells in the brain (microglia, astroglia, or neurons) are energetically stressed but aim to find out. Poster presented at the American Academy of Pain Management April 2021.
